4th Annual Pink Moon Festival f

The 4th Annual Pink Moon Festival features some of the best in electronic, jam, jazz, funk, world, blues, rock, reggae, and roots music. Pink Moon Festival occurs on Saturday September 15 and Sunday September 16 in the southern part of West Virginia.

Performers include the jam electronica group EOTO, the deeply soulful and energetic Sol Roots, vocally led electronic groovers Former Champions, trance psychedelic rock of Galaxy Dynamite, Virginia roots rockers Peoples Blues of Richmond and many many more!!

This mid-Atlantic festival is a grassroots music and arts festival nestled in the gorgeous mountains of West Virginia, and is a celebration of life, music, freedom and love!

Come out and enjoy two days of non-stop music and art. Set up camp in beautiful wooded campgrounds, or pitch tent in grassy country open fields! Explore the Shangri-La Village and stage, located under the giant Oaks at the base of Graveyard Hill! There one can find a mystical village of life, love and community. Visit the improved Black Light Mini Golf Course, visit vendors and artists from across the country, and dance the days away with some of the best national and regional musical acts!

Doors open at 4pm on Saturday, September 15th. Presale tickets are $20, tickets are $30 at the gate. There will be a $10 car camping fee and a $5 per pet fee as applicable. Visit our website at for ticket outposts and more information.

Official Line-Up:
EOTO (uses various instruments, including keyboards, guitars and drums, computers and looping software to create a dynamic live set that essentially redefines what live electronic music is. EOTO formed as a side project to The String Cheese Incident, a popular jam band)

SOL ROOTS (a fierce guitarist and soulful singer who has toured the world with many roots, funk, and blues legends. Sol and his band create a unique blend of rock, blues, reggae, and raw funk, all delivered with deep soul. This is an official Home Grown Music Network band.)

DJ RAHBEE (Attending the most influential electronic music events, RahBee began to create his own style. Playing House and Breaks, then moving on to Hip-Hop, Downtempo, and in the past few years playing a lot of bass heavy Glitch, Glitch-Hop, Funky House, Future Garage)

GALAXY DYNAMITE ("Blending trance, rock and psychedelic sounds, this three-piece instrumental band aims to create dance music with a laid-back beach feel to it" - Virginian Pilot)

SILO EFFECT(carefully craft their own colorful brew of electronic space-rock. SILO merges elements of progressive house & experimental funk with live electronics, yielding a psychedelic blend of vivid melodies, infectious rhythm & heavy grooves. HGMN best live recording of 2011!)

THE KIND (one of the top Grateful Dead cover bands from the heart of Virginia)

FORMER CHAMPIONS (electro rock band showcasing vocal led compositions intermixed with an array of instrumentally driven electronic pieces. A sonic blend of synthesized keys mixed with sub-bass, distorted guitar, harmonized vocals, samples, and drums and percussion combine to create what the band describes as "street music."

PIGEONS PLAYING PING PONG(Baltimore's Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is here to bring the party with their danceable electro-funk grooves and infectious ability to bring positive energy to any environment)

PEOPLES BLUES OF RICHMOND (Richmond VA-based trio taking audiences back to "heavy and raw" rock 'n' roll/ Blues music mixed with touches of folk tunes and psychedelic sounds)
