| Jazz at the Maverick Presents “Cole Porter in Paris” On Saturday, July 28, at 6:30pm, Woodstock guitarist and vocalist Perry Beekman will perform a program titled "Cole Porter in Paris" along with vocalist Terry Blaine, Peter Tomlinson at the piano, and Lou Pappas on bass. Perry Beekman's music is deeply rooted in the classic tradition of jazz, and he has been playing in jazz clubs for over 25 years. He has performed at the Palm Court at the Plaza Hotel, and the JVC and River to River Jazz Festivals in New York City. Jazz vocalist Terry Blaine has enjoyed a multifaceted career that includes live performances, recordings, studio work, television and radio shows. She has released four CDs, including Too Hot for Words, a tribute to the Great Ladies of Swing, taking them around the world and playing to packed houses from Germany to Cleveland. Peter Tomlinson teaches jazz piano at Western Connecticut State University and Vassar College. Lou Pappas has performed at jazz festivals across the United States and is Adjunct Artist in Music at Vassar College.
