Corinne with Viva performance at Bastille Day Festival

On Sunday, 14 July Bankstown Council is introducing a touch of France for their Bastille day event. Banks town Bites welcomes Corrine Andrew to the main stage, Corinne is an internationally renowned French cabaret artist who sings in many languages including: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and, of course, English. Corinne will be supported by Viva the duo, popular Sydney entertainers and musicians.

The duo have an extensive history of performances at Council and community events and music events Interntionally: at Thailand, The Phillippines, Guam, Taiwanand Japan and locally at: Gold Coast Jazz and blues Festival, Newcastle Jazz Festival, Morpeth Jazz Festival, Manly International Jazz Festival, Kiama Jazz and blues Festival, Illawarra Jazz Festival, Central Coast Jazz Leagues, Thredbo Jazz Festival plus Sydney Olympic Park and Darling Harbour music events. Viva the duo have also conducted promotional tours of Europe in 2000 and 2010

Corinne Andrew commenced her collaboration with Viva the duo in June 2011 with performances locally at The Factory Theatre and a season at The Art Gallery of NSW during the Picasso exhibition.

Corinne and Viva the duo perform a rich tapestry of music, skillfully blending a mixture of: European music plus: jazz, swing, Latin, Portuguese Fado, Argentine, Cuban, gypsy jazz, cabaret and classic show tunes.
