Patrizia the Sultry Lady of Jazz has been selected for the 2012 Best of Encinitas Award in the Musicians, Bands & Disc Jockeys category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local Muscians, Bands & Disc Jockeys category by the U.S. Commerce Association(USCA), throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies Musicians, Bands & Disc Jockeys that they believe have achieved exceptional success in their local community and business category. These are local individuals that enhance the positive image through their Music, presentations and their positive personal image in their community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

PATRIZIA...THE SULTRY LADY OF JAZZ, presently based out of San Diego, California presents outstanding Jazz and Blues Vocals. Best known for her heartfelt, sultry renditions of Jazz and Blues Standards, as well as her stylish upbeat interpretations of Swing, Bebop, Latin Jazz and her personal compositions. Her musical creativity has been well represented through her innovative jazz concert programs. She has performed jazz concerts, solo, duos, trios, quartets etc and orchestras at various art centers, concert halls, churches and synagogues, colleges and schools, theaters, house concerts, art galleries, libraries, and festivals. appeared on numerous radio and television stations and has been highly praised by many Jazz Stations, Magazines and critics for her vocal abilities and musical interpretations.

In December 2010 she was the artistic and music director of "A Jazz Story", an evening event featuring the music of some of the greatest musical artists and composers to date. As part of this concert she devised a program tracing the evolution of jazz and it's roots with special emphasis on the greatest composers and vocalist of throughout history:

Compositional Efforts
Currently her most recent compositional efforts are several intriguing, full concert-length jazz concerts including taking a Jazz Story on tour with some very notable jazz musicians, a new cd, nationwide tour and some special surprises all slated for 2012.

It is rumored that since Jazz Story was so successful there may be a commemorative recording coming soon but this is has not been confirmed so a rumor for now. At any rate keep your eyes open and your ears ready for this outstanding vocalist.
