| Port of Albany's Riverfront Jazz Festival As the summer comes to an end, let it go out with a cymbal crash and a trumpet blast. Don't miss Albany's Riverfront Jazz Festival on September 8, 2012. The festival brings acclaimed musical guests, great food, kids events, and fireworks ... and best of all, it's free! Since 2001, the Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival has featured the 'who's who' of jazz greats, critically acclaimed up-and-coming artists and local favorites! The banks of the Hudson River are transformed into Congo Square for a lively day of "jamming", free musical entertainment and more. Join in the "steady beat" at Albany's Riverfront Park at the Corning Preserve. There will be food and beverages available for purchase, and many performances to enjoy all day long.
