| Matthew Shipp Celebrates Elasticity at Jazz Standard The Matthew Shipp Trio with Michael Bisio and Whit Dickey will be closing out February with two days of performance at Jazz Standard to celebrate the release of Elastic Aspects on Thirsty Ear Records. There will be two shows each night at 7:30 and 9:30 with a cover charge of $20.00 for each show. "Elastic Aspects is a well-considered condensation of Shipp's most recent works, and then some.
