| Lana Del Rey Announces 'Born To Die' Out January 31 Lana Del Rey announces the release of her highly anticipated album 'Born To Die' on January 31, 2012 on Interscope Records. Lana's first single "Video Games" began its life online in July based on a visually arresting video created by Lana. Since then, "Video Games" has amassed a legion of devoted followers, 9 million views on YouTube and hit the #1 position up on release on iTunes in 9 countries, including the UK, Australia, Holland and France. Lana says, "The songs I've written are an homage to true love and a tribute to living life on the wild side." Rolling Stone recently featured Lana in their annual "Hot Issue" and Q Magazine awarded her as "Best New Thing" at the Q Awards in October. Vogue.com called "Video Games" 'Song of the year" - while GQ called Lana '2012's most striking new singer.' Lana will soon release a new music video for the title-track, "Born To Die, "conceived by Lana and directed by Woodkid.
