| Ollabelle To Play 'Neon Blue Bird' At Bowery Ballroom Oct 7 Acclaimed roots collective Ollabelle are planning to play new album 'Neon Blue Bird' from start to finish for their hometown NYC show at the Bowery Ballroom on Oct 7, followed by a second set of past favorites. The band - Amy Helm (vocals/mandola), Fiona McBain (vocals/guitar), Tony Leone (vocals/drums), Byron Isaacs (vocals/bass), and Glenn Patscha (vocals/keys/organ) - will be joined by special guests including original Ollabelle member Jimi Zhivago on guitar, who joined the band in recording the new album, and a horn section with John Ellis and Clark Gayton. Billboard calls 'Neon Blue Bird' "abundant in warmth" and "as rooted in the roadhouse as it is the front porch."
