"The first prerequisite for any of the del Mano art shows: All of the artwork must be hand-made, " explained Ray Leier, del Mano Productions event producer and co-owner of Westwood's del Mano Gallery. "I designed the show to exhibit items that appeal to the diverse interests of our visitor's. We invite all to come to the event, browse and buy to support the artists and have a great time. There is always a lot to see and do, and the price is perfect too – it's free!"

Leier continued, "My motto is buy handmade, support goods Made in America. As a gallery owner, I understand the work being produced supports the local economy and strengthens our buying power by investing to keep American strong and thriving. When you purchase from artisans/craftspeople that enjoy creating their wares, the object holds that positive energy and it spreads. Buying from craftspeople is a conscious decision. People need to be more aware of where they spend their hard-earned money and where that money is going. This contributes to the bigger picture - investing in American, prompting the growth of entrepreneurial small business, and nurturing the growth of future artisans. My favorite reason to buy handmade is just that – it's handmade, which means quality, a whole lot of love, and visceral connection to the real world and to real individuals."

The 17th Annual Brentwood Autumn Art Show is produced by Ray Leier for del Mano Productions, LLC and co-sponsored by The West Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
