The 19-city tour begins in Boston when the dynamic duo plays the House of Blues on Tuesday, September 6. In a press release announcing the tour, both artists expressed excitement at the concept of touring with the other. "This is going to be a killer tour and who better to hit the road with than Jay Sean, " said Jonas, while Sean reiterated the sentiment, saying "I'm super excited to be on the road with Joe and I think it's going to be a great experience for me." The concert was originally slated to be 18+ show. In an e-mail to fans, however, Jonas explained that although the minimum age was originally "due to the late performance time and the service of alcohol at the venues, " by popular demand the stipulation had been lifted. Jonas, who gained the majority of his fame as a member of The Jonas Brothers, will be touring in support of his forthcoming solo debut album, FastLife. Scheduled to drop in stores on October 11, the new album features lead singe "See No More". England's Jay Sean first gained fame back in 2009 with the incredibly popular "Down" featuring rapper Lil' Wayne. Now, the pop/R&B singer is preparing for the release of his fourth studio album, Freeze Time. The forthcoming album features the already released singles "2012″ featuring Nicki Minaj and "Hit the Lights" featuring, once again, Lil' Wayne. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Jazz News :: home page |
