| Manhattan Transfer Summer 2011 European Tour We've just posted our confirmed dates in July for Europe, with gigs in Italy, Switzerland and Poland. It was great performing last night at Estival in Lugano, Switzerland. The Manhattan Transfer & New York Voices teamed up again to do an evening of Vocalese. Tim, Peter. Darmon and I did a swingin' version of The Mills Brothers's "Caravan" while the gals, Janis, Cheryl, Lauren, and Kim did Lambert, Hendricks & Ross' "Charleston Alley. Day off in Lugano, Switzerland went to a costume party for my dear friend, Caterina Valente thrown by her son Eric Von Aro. TMT and new York Voices went to celebrate her. There really was no one that could come close to Caterina Valente's talent.
