BlueRock Energy: New York State Blues Fest Green Energy Donation

BlueRock Energy Inc., the privately held energy supply company, headquartered in Syracuse, NY, will donate Green Energy from 100% New York State sources to the New York State Blues Festival to be held in Syracuse N.Y. on July 8th, 9th and 10th at the Inner Harbor. The New York State Blues Festival is free to attend. BlueRock Energy offers a variety of electric and natural gas options, plus a green energy option.

The New York State Blues Festival mission is to preserve, protect and promote blues music and culture. This is achieved through education in school programs, community events, and workshops, culminating with the production of an outdoor festival uniting our diverse citizenry in a celebration of American blues-based music. "The New York State Blues Festival mission aligns with our Green Energy program and from our New York State renewable sources, " said Chuck Hurley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of BlueRock Energy.

"Through our partnership with BlueRock Energy, the New York State Blues Festival is thrilled to know we are contributing to the demand for clean renewable energy with each note that's played, " said Todd Fitzsimmons, President, Board of Directors, New York State Blues Festival.

BlueRock Energy has pledged 20, 000 kilowatt hours (kWh) of hydroelectricity to match the festivals expected power consumption. The environmental benefit of using 'green energy' is equal to not driving about 18, 000 miles or planting approximately 1, 300 trees.

BlueRock Energy, founded in 2003, is headquartered in historic Franklin Square in Syracuse, NY and sells its energy products to businesses across New York State. BlueRock Energy, Inc. is a privately held energy services company (ESCO) licensed by the New York State Public Service Commission (NYPSC), providing electricity, natural gas and green energy products. BlueRock Energy serves small to mid-sized commercial and industrial customers, as well as residential customers.
