Ben Harper to play the House of Blues

Ben Harper has revealed plans for his North American tour supporting his new brand new album, Give Till It's Gone. The tour will stop in Massachusetts for a show at Boston's House of Blues on Friday, September 30. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $40 to $60, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. via Live Nation.

Released earlier this week, Give Till It's Gone is Harper's first solo record since 2006′s Both Sides of the Gun. Harper recorded most of the new album at the Los Angeles studio of Jackson Browne, who harmonizes with him on the wistful "Pray That Our Love Sees The Dawn." The album also features two tracks co-written with Ringo Starr – "Spilling Faith" and "Get There From Here", the latter is an improvisational instrumental. The video for lead singe "Rock N' Roll Is Free" is streaming below.

"I've never made a record that was such a timeline, " explained Harper in a press release. "It's a real extension of the last year and half in my life, and all these sounds are inspired by my experiences. It's as honest a musical statement as I could make."
