Delta Mountain Boys Concert at the SCHC

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation is thrilled to welcome the Delta Mountain Blues Boys as they present a special concert in the historic Southern Cultural Heritage Auditorium on Friday, July 22 from 7:00pm-10:30pm. The concert will serve as a venue for their live DVD/CD recording and also as a much needed fundraiser for the SCHF. Admission to the concert is a donation of $5 (or more). All ages are welcome. Beverages and a cash bar will be available at the event.

The Delta Mountain Boys play their own interpretations to traditional bluegrass music, relying on their strong, unmistakable harmonies and instrumental talents to provide a unique acoustic experience. The fun and energy on stage is contagious and will get-your-feet-a-hoppin. They will be recording a live CD and DVD in the Southern Cultural Heritage Center Auditorium and will be producing several music videos of their original music. Budweiser is a proud sponsor of this exciting musical event.

The Delta Mountain Boys have been playing traditional and progressive bluegrass for the last 10 years. They are a five piece string band consisting of guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and washtub bass.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF), a non-profit organization, maintains the Southern Cultural Heritage Center in Vicksburg, MS. The Center is a Mississippi Landmark property and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of the most architecturally and historically significant city blocks in downtown. The Foundation is committed to preserving the history and architecture of the Cultural Center, while offering cultural, educational and artistic programs for the community.
