Country music's Mason Douglas to perform in Friend, Nebraska

Nashville country music artist, Mason Dougla will perform at The Pour House located at 511 2nd Street, Friend, Nebraska on May 21, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Mason has been receiving quite a bit of attention lately including his recent feature in the Country Music Association's CMA Close-Up Magazine's Debut Spotlight and numerous kudos for his new album, My Wild Heart, released on L.A. based, Rural Rhythm Country Records.

The album was recently featured on CMT.com "20 New Tunes for Adventurous Music Fans, " and includes 11 original songs by Mason. The album is available to radio via Play MPE, DMDS and Airplay Direct and available for purchase via iTunes, Amazon.com and many more major outlets.

The first single release from the album titled, "Anything Can Happen" has also received attention including ROBERT K OERMAN (Music Row) saying, "I don't know when I have heard a more accomplished debut single. And he wrote it all by himself. Give that man a Discovery Award. The CD is titled MY WILD HEART, and you can bet I'll be playing the rest of it."

Mason's live performances have earned him rave reviews including a recent private cast party for the film "The Wettest County in the World." Those in attendance included one of the film's stars SHIA LABEOUF who loved Mason's music and told him, "That's some good s*&#!" Other attendees include: TOM HARDY (Inception); NICK CAVE (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds); the film's Director JOHN HILLCOAT; Atlanta jazz blues singer, TONY BYRD; and many more.
