Benny Golson and Gene Bertoncini: Jazz Masters Duet, March 6th

G&J Productions presents A First Time Jazz Masters Duet Featuring Benny Golson and Gene Bertoncini at the Historic Wainwright House, One Performance Only

Two senior masters of jazz, tenor saxophonist and composer Benny Golson and guitarist Gene Bertoncini, will play together for the first time on Sunday, March 6th at noon, for a Sunday Jazz Brunch in Rye, New York at Wainwright House, produced by G&J Productions.

"The pairing of two giants of jazz in such an intimate and beautiful setting as the Wainwright mansion in Rye is a rare opportunity for music lovers, " says Greg Thomas of G&J Productions. "And only a hundred seats or so are available."

For several years Wainwright House—the oldest non-profit, non-sectarian holistic learning center in the nation—has held Sunday jazz brunches featuring excellent local musicians. For this final winter brunch, the board of Wainwright House selected G&J Productions to bring artists of world renown to perform.

"Last October we produced an event in New Rochelle featuring top musicians led by Grammy Award-winning percussionist Bobby Sanabria . We're devoted to bringing the very best cultural events to Westchester, " declares Jewel Kinch-Thomas, co-founder of G&J Productions. "That's what we've experienced in Manhattan. Westchester deserves no less."

The delectable menu of food and beverages will be provided by Corner Stone Caterers, based in Rye for 15+ years.
