| Musician's Friend Celebrates the Holidays With B.B. King Musician's Friend, a top 50 Internet retailer and the largest direct marketer of musical instruments in the United States, has partnered with Gibson Custom Shop to honor blues legend B.B. King by designing an exclusive, limited-edition run of five gem-inspired colors of Gibson Custom Lucille Electric Guitars. As a tribute to the reigning king of the blues and recording artist, King is featured with the guitars on the cover of the soon-to-be-launched Musician's Friend December catalog. Identical to the guitar King plays onstage for countless concerts every year, Gibson's Custom Lucille model is built to his own specifications and for the first time is available in a special limited run of five gem-inspired colors. Only 25 of each guitar will be produced worldwide and they will be available in the U.S. only in the Musician's Friend catalog and online at www.musiciansfriend.com. "We're all huge fans of B.B. King Lucille Guitar features a laminated maple top, solid maple center block, and a special laminated maple neck and ebony fingerboard. The name "Lucille" is scripted in mother-of-pearl on the headstock with gold-plated hardware. Only 25 of each guitar will be produced worldwide. Each guitar is $3, 699.00. These limited edition guitars come in Sapphire Blue, Amethyst Purple, Diamond White, Ruby Red, and Emerald Green.
