| David Campbell To Release New DVD Following the success of his Aria top ten album On Broadway and the accompanying national tour, Sony Music is proud to release David Campbell's The Broadway Show Live In Australia DVD on November 19. This special DVD features David and his 29 piece orchestra performing some of his most loved Broadway hits including When I Get My Name In lights, Hello Dolly!, Proud Lady and You'll Never Walk Alone. 'The whole Broadway experience; recording the album and then the live show was a dream come true. It's the one thing I really wanted to do in my career and now with the release of the DVD, the journey is complete, ' said David. In April 2010 Sony Music released On Broadway, a cd collection of wonderful Broadway tunes, lovingly interpreted by David Campbell. These included songs from hit shows in which he has starred in such as Bring Him Home (Les Miserables), Being Alive (Company), Luck Be A Lady (Guys & Dolls), and You'll Never Walk Alone (Carousel) with songs from other hit musicals such as Oh What a Beautiful Mornin' (Oklahoma!), Hello, Dolly! (Hello, Dolly!) and All I Care About (Chicago). Since then On Broadway has achieved Gold status and has been released internationally through the prestigious Sony Masterworks label, the home of some of the best international classical music artists (Yo Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Leonard Bernstein) and theatre/soundtrack recordings. David will also be taking the Broadway show to the US with dates booked from November 23rd in Los Angeles, San Francisco and the place that started it all, New York, where he is booked to perform at the famous supper club, Feinstein's. David Campbell is one of Australia's most loved and respected performers. His past albums have garnered multi-platinum status, and his position as one of the country's most popular live performers is assured. But it is this, his tribute to his love of musical theatre and theatre tunes that he is most proud of. Its been a busy year for David Campbell. He released his album ON BROADWAY and received an ARIA No 1 award for his previous DVD release GOOD LOVIN LIVE. He was Artistic Director of the highly successful Adelaide Cabaret Festival for the 2nd year, hosted the Helpmann Awards in September 2010 and took the Broadway album on a national tour.
