| Jamie Cullum to Star at Barcelona International Jazz Festival The Barcelona International Jazz Festival will feature the music of at least one celebrated British musician, as Jamie Cullum has been confirmed to perform. Ostensibly running from November 3rd to December 2nd 2010, the event actually kicked off with a street parade and a concert by Francesco Bearzatti Tinissima Quartet on October 2nd and 3rd respectively. There is a huge line-up of incredible musicians on the bill for the Barcelona International Jazz Festival, which is sure to entice plenty of enthusiasts to the cheap hotels Barcelona has available. One of the most recognisable names is young British star Jamie Cullum, who will be playing at the Palau de la Musica on November 26th. But Cullum is not the only fantastic act that people can enjoy, with names such as the Ivan Melon Lewis Quintet, David Sanborn Trio and Chucho Valdes & the Afro-Cuban Messengers also set to feature. Each concert is individually priced, with shows taking place in a variety of venues across the Catalan city. One potential highlight could be the Kurt Rosenwinkel Monvinic Experience on November 15th, which an official blogger for the event described as being an occasion that will explore the world of wine through music. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Jazz News :: home page |
