| Brian Setzer Comes Alive With New CD, DVD Three-time Grammy Award winner Brian Setzer, will release his first live Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas album and a live Brian Setzer Orchestra DVD in October (Surfdog Records). The 'Christmas Comes Alive!' CD (October 12) was recorded during the BSO's 2009 Christmas Extravaganza Tour and contains 16 "classic gems" (Parade), performed as only Brian and his 18-piece rockin' big band can. The 'It's Gonna Rock... 'Cause That's What I Do' DVD, out October 26th, was filmed in Montreal on June 25, 2010, in front of a crowd of 150, 000 screaming fans. It will rock living rooms everywhere with the sounds of the BSO's "wildly eclectic party... [played] with a punky verve whose sheer joy is nigh irresistible" (LA Times). Since 2002, Brian Setzer has made winter a little warmer with the help of his fire-breathing Gretsch guitar and killer 18-piece big band. He's played over 120 Christmas concerts for more than 300, 000 fans, and sold nearly 1 million Christmas CDs and DVDs. Over the last decade, The Brian Setzer Orchestra have performed their raucous renditions of Christmas songs on the Christmas at Rockefeller Center Special, The Today Show, Rachael Ray, The Tonight Show, and Conan O'Brien, among many others.
