| Terence Blanchard/Branford Marsalis - JALC - October 1-2 Jazz at Lincoln Center brings two of New Orleans' finest native sons, trumpeter Terence Blanchard and saxophonist Branford Marsalis to Rose Theater on October 1-2. Both musicians left the Crescent City to join Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, then showed the world that New Orleans is not only the cradle of jazz itself but the nexus of a vibrant modern music scene.
