Rockers Papa Roach and Skillet have announced plans to join forces and destroy crowds across the US with their Monsters of Annihilation tour beginning October 1st in Myrtle Beach, SC at The House of Blues. Armed with their current Top 10 Active Rock smash "Kick in the Teeth" from their upcoming album, Time for Annihilation...On The Record and On The Road (August 31st via Eleven Seven Music), Papa Roach will be joined by co-headliners, Skillet, whose newest album, the RIAA gold-certified AWAKE features two Active Rock radio hits with "Monster" and "Hero." Trapt and My Darkest Days round out the bill. For a complete list of tour dates, please see below.

"We've become good friends with Skillet over the past couple years and are excited to jump on the road with them. Having both Papa Roach and Skillet together on one stage, you best believe we're going to burn it down!!! Get ready for total stage annihilation, " says Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.

Skillet's John Cooper adds, "The first time we played with Papa Roach, I told the band we have to tour with these guys because they have an amazing live show! Jacoby is one of the best front men I've seen in years and I'm honored to share the stage with him. This tour is going to rock!!"

Papa Roach continues to fortify their reputation as one of the best live bands regardless of genre and recently electrified the 100, 000 plus audience at this year's Sonisphere festival in the UK with an explosive performance of which Metal Hammer said, "The Roach are sensational for every second they are onstage." In a review of the single, Billboard wrote, "Kick In The Teeth may be its (Papa Roach's) most rousing anthem yet." With over 8 million records sold, Papa Roach has produced multi-format hits on every album they have released over the past ten years, proving their longevity and relevance throughout. With Time for Annihilation...On The Record and On The Road, Papa Roach bring together what they do best by delivering a highly energetic entertainment package for fans old and new alike. With the release of this record, the band continue their long term commitment to Why Hunger, raising funds and awareness for the 49 million Americans and more than 1 billion people worldwide who are hungry. In addition to auctioning off VIP experiences during this tour with all proceeds going to WhyHunger, the band included a hidden track on the record, a first in philanthropy, to encourage fans to text to donate as they do live in concert.

Skillet's most recent release, AWAKE made a blockbuster debut at #2 on the Billboard 200, has since been certified gold and achieved a TOP 5 Active Rock hit with "Monster" and Top 15 smash with "HERO." The band will release their new single and video for "Awake & Alive" in the coming weeks. In addition, various tracks from AWAKE have received major TV placements including NBC Sunday Night Football, NBC's "The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania" and MTV's "Bully Beatdown." As one of the hardest working live acts, their solo tours ranked within Pollstar's Concert Pulse Top 50 Tours and landed the band on the cover of the magazine. Skillet has spent the last year on the road with Creed, Shinedown, various headline festival appearances and the "Awake & Alive" headline tour. The band has racked up an array of achievements since they first formed in 2003, including two BMI Music Awards, multiple Grammy nominations, RIAA gold certification for Comatose and cumulative sales approaching 2 million.
