Take No Prisoners: Berklee at Fort Warren

On Saturday, August 21 at noon, Berklee is presenting the last of our free "Take No Prisoners: Berklee at Fort Warren" concerts on Georges Island.
At noon, Elise Hayes will take the stage, singing pop with an r&b/soul twist.
Black Kettle follows at 1:00 p.m. Selected as one of the top 5 local Boston acts to watch in 2010, the trio blend folk with pop and indie rock, performing melodies guaranteed to stick. Julia Easterlin, a jazz artist who weaves unexpected instruments (Scandinavian Tupperware!) into performances closes out the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Easterlin's been described as "Ella Fitzgerald meets Stomp."

Georges Island is a short ferry ride away. Ferries depart from Long Wharf North in Boston and from the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy.
