| Gov't Mule Tours US This Summer Following wildly received appearances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, guest-filled sets at their own festival Mountain Jam, Gov't Mule will embark on a summer tour July 16th that will include four Florida and Georgia dates in late July with the Dave Matthews Band, a headlining show at the Central Park Summerstage in New York City August 11th, and a show with The Avett Brothers and Truth And Salvage, Co. at the crown jewel of American amphitheaters, Red Rocks (Sept 4). Gov't Mule is led by Warren Haynes, ranked #23 on Rolling Stones' Best Guitarists Of All Time List and deemed "Best Rock Guitarist" by Guitar Player Magazine for the second year in a row. The tour, in support of their new critically acclaimed album 'By A Thread, ' will head from East to West, kicking off with shows in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC (Haynes's home state) and wind up at the Taos Mountain Music Festival September 5th. Other stops include Boston's Bank of America Pavilion and Penn's Landing in Philly with NOLA funk maestro Trombone Shorty. Jackie Greene will open on the majority of the dates.
