Jazz musician Ralston Van Der Schyff will be playing in Shanghai next month.

A spot of jazz piano could be the perfect way for people staying in accommodation in Shanghai to unwind after a long day, so Ralston Van Der Schyff's July concert's could be an ideal option.

The musician is playing a host of dates in Shanghai over the next month, including one on July 15th 2010 at the Penthouse Bar, where he will be joined by Lionel Beukes and Lezil Hendricks.

Expect good things from the trio of musicians, who have previously been described as a "revelation" when they play together.

Getting underway at 21:00 local time, the show promises to be a sophisticated jazz performance and is sure to be a great way to help people staying in accommodation in Shanghai to rid themselves of the stresses and strains of the day.

Although he is equally adept at jamming as he is at sticking to a pre-planned set-list, Van Der Schyff may play crowd-pleasing favourites such as Sweet Caroline and Song Sung Blue during the performance.

The show is open to all ages, so those who have youngsters with an ear for jazz music can bring them along as well.

Van Der Schyff has previously played at the Shanghai International Music Festival and the ATP Tennis Masters Cup at the Qizhong Tennis Center.
