Miley Cyrus to Celebrate Album Release With Free Live Concert Stream

17-year-old recording artist Miley Cyrus has generated a great deal of publicity for herself in recent weeks. The controversially provocative attire that she has worn during recent performances has resulted in backlash from parents of children who idolize the teenage celebrity for her stint on Hannah Montana. Cyrus' attempts to shy away from the Disney image that she has portrayed have forced her to respond to criticism by claiming, "I'm not trying to be slutty."

An upskirt photograph of Cyrus that was uploaded by Perez Hilton also made headlines, though much of the controversy revolved around the legal ramifications that the celebrity blogger may face. However, the positive and negative publicity that she has received in recent weeks has kept her in the spotlight leading up to the upcoming album release of Can't Be Tamed, which hits stores on Monday, June 21.

MTV.com is reporting that Cyrus will perform a live show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, California to celebrate the release of her new album on June 21. The Can't Be Tamed World Premiere Live concert will begin at 10:30 p.m. ET and it will be streamed free and live to nearly 160 countries courtesy of various MTV Networks' Music and Logo Group websites.

Cyrus' representatives unveiled a press release to address the live show, which reads, "I'm so excited to perform my new music live in concert on the night of my album release. Thanks to MTV Networks, my fans from all around the world have the opportunity to be a part of it and experience it with me."
