| Norah Jones to perform in Bilbao Bilbao is all set to welcome Norah Jones to its Euskalduna venue for a night of beautiful music with the New York singer-songwriter. She released new record The Fall last year and will perform tracks from the album for fans staying at accommodation in Bilbao for the gig. It is her fourth full-length effort and has been described as "bold and daring" by the organisers of the concert, which is due to take place on July 11th. "Her album has touches of contemporary rock, jazz, blues, gospel, soul and folk combined with her experiments with new sounds, making it stronger than her three previous works, " explained the venue. Fans will no doubt be treated to hits from her previous three albums - Come Away With Me, Feels Like Home and Not Too Late - during the evening, which kicks off at 20:00 (local time) with a special guest support act. Jones is a celebrated pianist as well as a singer and has won eight Grammy awards during her career, during which she has sold 36 million records. The artist is not the only member of her family in the music industry, with her father Ravi Shankar known globally for his sitar-playing ability.
