| Jackson State Jazz Program celebrates release of three CDs The Jazz Education program at Jackson State University's Department of Music will hold a CD release reception from noon to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at the F.D. Hall Music Center art gallery celebrating three CD publications. The event will celebrate three new recordings: "Jazz Lives, " by the Jazz Ensemble Class I, led by professor of music Russell Thomas Jr., "Genesis, " by the Jazz Ensemble Class II, led by associate professor of music David N.
