When asked why they got involved in this particular initiative they were quick to note the importance of making art available and accessible to children. "We feel that the cause of "Children and the Arts" resonates most deeply for us. If Children are encouraged to be creative at an early age, they grow up to more complete adults. Art instills confidence, and specifically, music encourages group participation. These are important values that all children deserve to experience". Monsoon, an Indo-Jazz ensemble that fuses contemporary jazz with Indian classical music will open for Joe and Paul. This group of highly accomplished musicians bring together their diverse musical backgrounds and strong musicality to create a powerful and fresh approach to world music and the blending of eastern and western music traditions. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Jazz News :: home page |
