Anat Cohen confirmed for 92nd Street Y "Russian Sundays" Series

On Sunday, March 7 Anat Cohen will perform at the 92nd Street Y as part of their "Russian Sundays" series. Anat will perform songs from her forthcoming live album 'Clarinetwork: Live At The Village Vanguard' in addition to some Russian-themed works and improvisations.

For the first half of her set Anat will play both clarinet and saxophone backed by Aaron Diehl on piano, Ryan Berg on bass and Obed Calvaire on drums. During the second half she will be joined by Harry Allen on Tenor Sax, Chuck Wilson on alto sax, Scott Robinson on baritone sax, Jon-Erik Kellso on trumpet, and John Allred on trombone to perform some of the tunes from 'Clarinetwork' as well as special arrangements by Oded Lev-Ari of some Benny Goodman favorites.

Following this performance Anat will embark on her most extensive U.S. tour to date, mixing solo shows and performances with the Anat Cohen Quartet and her 'Clarinetwork' ensemble.
