| Kenny Barron Trio at the McAninch Arts Center March 12 Named "Best Pianist" by the Jazz Journalists Association for the past four years, Barron began his career as a teenager and has played and recorded with Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Melvin, Roy Haynes and others. Jazz pianist, composer and arranger Kenny Barron will perform with the Kenny Barron Trio at 8 p.m. Friday, March 12, at the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. The nine-time Grammy Award nominee collaborated extensively with Stan Getz throughout the 1980s and has recorded dozens of albums.
