Second Jeff Beck Show at Rochester International Jazz Festival

A second show with guitar legend Jeff Beck has been added to the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (www.rochesterjazz.com) lineup on June 18, 2010. The first Jeff Beck show, scheduled for 8 p.m. was a fast sell-out. The second Jeff Beck show will be the same day at 11 p.m. Both concerts will be in Eastman Theatre's Kodak Hall.

The ninth edition of the nine-day Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival presented by M&T Bank will be held June 11-19, 2010. The Beck concert is the first headliner show to go on sale. The complete artist lineup will be announced in April 2010.

The popular Club Pass, providing access to the Festival's 185 Club Pass Series shows is also on sale now at www.rochesterjazz.com and www.ticketmaster.com for $115 until midnight EST on January 1, 2010. The price increases to $135 January 1, and $150 April 2, until sold out. Service charges apply.

The 2010 Festival will present more than 250 ticketed and free concerts in 18 venues all within walking distance in Rochester, NY's East End Cultural District. Last year's festival set a seventh consecutive attendance record drawing more than 133, 000 music fans from all over the world.

From legendary performers and familiar favorites - to rising stars and new discoveries - the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (XRIJF) navigates all genres of creative improvised music from all corners of the world. Artists will come from more than 18 countries. The Festival also features two acclaimed international club series, Made in the UK and Nordic Jazz Now.

XRIJF was founded in 2002 and is produced by John Nugent, Artistic Director and Marc Iacona, Executive Director. It is sponsored by Xerox, M&T Bank, the Democrat and Chronicle, Eastman School of Music, Rochester Plaza Hotel, Monroe County, The Community Foundation, 13WHAM TV, Brooklyn Brewery, Michelob, Spaten Beer, Visit Rochester, Mercury Print Productions, AirTran, Harris Interactive, DownBeat Magazine, Max of Eastman Place, SUNY College at Brockport, House of Guitars, and Presentation Source.
