| Concord 'For Lovers' Series Continues With Volumes From Isaac Hayes And Ray Charles Concord Music Group's For Lovers series will continue on December 22, 2009 with CDs from both Ray Charles and Isaac Hayes, featuring each artist's greatest love songs. Previously, Concord has issued For Lovers albums by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Tony Bennett, Stan Getz, Chet Baker, Bill Evans, Sarah Vaughan, Dave Brubeck, Rosemary Clooney, Wes Montgomery and Mel Tormé on such labels as Concord, Concord Jazz, Prestige and Riverside. Ray Charles' Sings for Lovers on Concord Records leads with "I Can't Stop Loving You, " originally from Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music, which spent five weeks at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100, album chart, plus the R&B and adult contemporary charts. It is joined by George Gershwin's "How Long Has This Been Going On?, " "You Are My Sunshine, " "Til There Was You, " "Baby It's Cold Outside, " "You Don't Know Me, " "Love Is Here to Stay, " "How Deep Is the Ocean, " "Here We Go Again, " "Stella By Starlight, " "Gee, Baby Ain't I Good to You, " "Ruby, " "Come Live with Me, " "Something, " "A Song for You" and "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye."
