| Don Bosco Hall to Host 12th Annual Concert Benefit Don Bosco Hall will host its twelfth annual concert benefit, " Get Jazzy Evening, " on Sat., Nov. 14, 2009 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. The event will feature jazz group Pieces of a Dream, and will open with Detroit's own Randy Scott from 5:30 -7:30 p.m., with showtime at 8 p.m. Funds raised from " Get Jazzy Evening" will go directly to support Don Bosco Hall's numerous programs for youth and families. Don Bosco Hall has serviced the Detroit community for 55 years and has worked with more than 60, 000 youth and their families. Performing at the event is Pieces of a Dream, a contemporary jazz group from Philadelphia that has enjoyed consistent success by combining elements of R&B, pop and a variety of other sounds to their unwavering jazz foundations. In 2001 the members of the group joined the prestigious roster of artists on the "Heads Up International" label and celebrated their 25th anniversary with the release of the critically-acclaimed album, Acquainted with the Night. Pieces of a Dream has an extensive portfolio, which includes 15 albums. DBH is a leading private, non-profit agency focused on mobilizing youth and their families to excel to their full potential in the community.
