| Bailey’s Jazz Brunch Hits a High Note with Legendary Local Musician He's played with musical legends Stevie Wonder, Joe Simon, B.B. King and Conrad Johnson. Now, local jazz legend Leo "The Voice" Polk and his Dixieland trio will dazzle diners during Sunday Jazz Brunch at Bailey's American Grille in Seabrook. The jazzy, Louis Armstrong-like notes from Polk's trumpet are the perfect pairing with Executive Chef Roland Soza's Gulf Coast brunch menu and the restaurant's legendary mimosas and Bloody Marys. "Pre-Hurricane Ike, Leo ruled Brennan's brunch, " said Brad Bailey, owner of Bailey's. "He's a Houston treasure who has entertained audiences all over the world. We couldn't be more thrilled to have him perform such feel-good standards like What a Wonderful World and When the Saints Go Marching In for our guests at Bailey's brunch." The restaurant's regionally-inspired brunch menu features Jumbo Gulf Shrimp & Grilled Andouille Grits, Crab Cakes Benedict and Venison Sausage Migas, along with Cornflake Crusted French Toast, Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles, Banana Pancakes, among many others. Bailey's Sunday Jazz Brunch is available from 11am to 3pm every weekend. Bailey's American Grille is located at 2320 NASA Parkway, Seabrook, TX 77586. write your comments about the article :: © 2009 Jazz News :: home page |
