| "Soultre" is Neo Soul, R&B Singer, Poetic, and Actress. This amazing artist "Shalonda McGill" aka "Soultre" is originally from Gary. Indiana. This talented young woman started off in the industry as a seven year old little girl singing in the schools elementary choir where she attended at Jefferson Elementary School.. As, a child growing up "Soultre" knew she was always destine to sing and one day become famous, she always felt that music was a key to the soul because she always felt it in her heart and it melted her soul. "Shalonda McGill" aka "Soultre" auditioned and was accepted in the Gary's Gifted and Talented School Program, she performed in musical plays such as "The Wiz" (as Dorothy), and "Oklahoma" (as Ado Annie). Shalonda McGill aka "Soultre" didnt stop there, she kept pursuing her musical career as a young adult and later start singing with a well known blues band for two years called "The Fabulous Kings" this band toured and traveled all over the Midwest; and she had a chance to perform as a opening act for the R&B star "Rome" in Fort Wayne Indiana. In 2003 "Soultre" relocated to Las Vegas, Nv. It was at this time she auditioned and got to perform with the very talented group "Marvellettes" and Martha & The Vandellas, even though it was for a short time it was a great experience for her. With all the talent that "Soultre" holds she later was blessed all of Las Vegas and tourists from all around the country with her beautiful vocals by performing three (3) consecutive years at the las Vegas Fremont Experience "Taste of Soul" and Culture Festival. Shalonda McGill aka "Soultre" was recently a contestant at the Vicious Records & Entertainment "2009 I Want To Be A Star" Showcase that was held at the College Of Southern Nevada "Horn Theater" where she was named one of the top five performance out of twenty four contestants. After impressing the CEO-Vanessa Jackson she was later signed to Vicious Records & Entertainment whom will pursue all of her management needs. "Soultre" album is coming soon with some of the hottest track like "Black Satin Sheets", "808", and her spoken word "Fall-N-Lust With You".. Her goal is to make hits and become a actress in maybe some of Tylers Perry's movies and theatrical plays, as well as do sound tracks.
