| Kate Voegele Hits the Road for a 30-City Headlining Tour Singer/Songwriter Kate Voegele hits the road for a new set of dates in support of her sophomore offering, A Fine Mess, her latest and highest charting album to date. The tour kicks off October 7, 2009 at the House of Blues in her hometown of Cleveland, OH. The 30-city trek hits major cities like Boston (10/14), Washington, DC (10/16), Memphis, TN (10/20), Austin, TX (10/26), and Chicago, IL (11/15). The singer, known for her rocking live shows, will be performing her old hits as well as songs from her new album, A Fine Mess. "I'm just so excited to get back out on the road, " said the singer, "I love being able to get on stage and connect with my fans. Meeting everyone face to face and bringing the music directly to my fans is really the most special thing." A Fine Mess, released in May, follows Voegele's first full-length set, Don't Look Away. The new album debuted at #10 it's first week on the Top Current Albums Soundscan Chart and landed at #2 on iTunes overall and #1 on iTunes Pop album spots, making this Kate's highest charting album to date. In addition to having rave reviews and some serious fans in the music world, Kate is further establishing herself with a slew of high-profile appearances. The buzz on Kate has proved to be unstoppable and her presence in the market is unavoidable. Voegele-who has been performing and recording as a solo artist since releasing a demo in 2003, has appeared on the CW Network drama "One Tree Hill" since 2008, portraying aspiring musician Mia Catalano, exposure that has proven valuable to her off-camera music career.
