Vicious Records & Entertainment Presents "I Want To Be A Star"

Vanessa Jackson CEO & president of Vicious Records & Entertainment presents the "I Want To Be A Star" showcase to be held at the College Of Southern Nevada "Horn Theater on October 2, 2009. This is a family-oriented event featuring over 200 contestants from all over the country, and attracting over thousands of visitors that exposes the community to entertainment opportunities and cultural resources. This is a third annual showcase that will bring local talent from Las Vegas and surrounding areas, as well as other states to be able to come and perform before major record labels & distributors. "I Want To Be A Star" showcase will bring in several major record labels from all over the world to judge this competition; record labels will include Sony, Sic Wit It, Warner Brothers, Moore House Records, Global Music, and many more

On Friday Oct. 2, 2009 Vicious Records & Entertainment presents "I Want To Be A Star" will be held at the Cheyenne Community College Theater from 6:30pm to 9:30pm tickets are $20. Some of the proceeds will go to the "Heart Association Of America" and "Youths Of America foundations". "I Want To Be A Star" auditions were held Saturday August 22, 2009 at Club Led 7700 Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, NV. There were several judges from the entertainment world judging the competition for the main event on Oct 2nd. Some of the contestants that were selected from the auditions were "Soultre", "Lo Bow", "Andre Serraile", "And What", "Analia", "P Smooth", "Chief B", "D Reeves", "Yung Bam", and "West Coast Anthem" and "Lil Dude". There will be another audition coming soon before the show. Some of the judges were "Pat Stone" from Stone Entertainment, "Fredrick" the comedian and now gospel artist, "Marc Cash" from BMG Music, "Kim Carter" and "Rahul Cortes" both from Vicious Records, "Sunny Blue Bland" known blues singer, "Ray Virgil Fairley" author "Iceman Reap What You Sow" and "Forced Into The Game", and "Gangsta Brown" film director and actor....

This will be a must attend event. The event will be hosted by comedian "J Reid" and co-hosted by "Larry McCoy" known as "St. Louis from Players Club and known from the film Malcolm X and many more. There will also be a special performance by "Sonny Blue Bland" the son of famous blues singer "Bobby Blue Bland" and special appearances by "Vegas" and "Apple" from the VH1 "Real Chance Of Love" reality show.
