| Maxwell Drummer Chris Dave Joins 2009 “Black Summer’s Night” Tour For the first-time-ever Miles Davis Properties, LLC goes on tour with Grammy-nominated neo-soul singer, Maxwell. World renowned drumming impresario Chris "Daddy" Dave joins Maxwell on his 2009 Black Summer's Night tour with a custom Blue Drums Resonant Series drum outfit. Recognized as one of the world's finest drummers, Dave, who recently debuted his Blue Drums set on national television on the Dave Letterman Show says: "To play music at this level, I demanded an instrument of uncompromising sound and physical beauty." Not wanting to disappoint, Miles Davis Properties, LLC in conjunction with Innovation Drum Company, created Blue Drums to satisfy the demands of the most discriminating drummers. Blue Drums debuted with the issuing of the Miles Davis 50th Anniversary Kind of Blue commemorative snare drums last January at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. Since then, not only has the demand for the KOB 50th Anniversary snare drums grown, but the call for Blue Drums drum kits has grown as well.
