7th Annual Music Festival, Michigan, August 21-23, 2009

Get lost in the great north woods of Michigan when the Manistee National Forest comes alive for the 7th Annual Hoxeyville Music Festival this August.
Featuring two stages of national touring artists, a focus on local music talent, and a weekend of camping in pristine northern Michigan, Hoxeyville 2009 combines the hottest acts with the opportunity to unplug so you can plug-in.

The 2009 line up features the legendary and Grammy award winning sounds of Buddy Guy, the funk of Galactic, and Jazz Guitarist of the Year, Bill Frisell.

The festival boasts a Vendor Village featuring the finest local and organic artisan foods, crafts and local handcrafted beers, as well as an ultimate Disc Golf course designed by Stephani Meyers of Disc Golf Michigan. The festival site is also located near various mountain biking trails and the Pine River, a national wild and scenic river, a world-class blue-ribbon trout stream, and a renowned paddle sports playground. The modern campground has full amenities, including a swimming pool, showers, plug-ins, dump station and wireless Internet. With an increased capacity of 8, 500 and an amazing lineup, 2009 promises to be the grandest incarnation to date.
