| Liberating Latin Jazz at Berklee's free noon concert series  Berklee College of Music's fifth Kendall Square Concert Series takes place every Thursday throughout the summer—and it's free for lunchtime music lovers. July 23 brings La Timbistica, a six-piece Latin band with some of the best young players on the East Coast. The band will move you with sounds ranging from Afro-Cuban and Brazilian, and their original tunes comprising a wide variety of Latin influences. The group is led by conguero Paulo Stagnaro, and it's following extends from clubs all over Boston to festivals across the U.S.Concerts takes place in the outdoor plaza at 300 Athenaeum Street, Kendall Square, Cambridge, on Thursdays, noon to 1:30 p.m., through September 10.
