Prince to play at closing show of Montreux

The musician Prince will perform two shows to close the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 18, news report said Friday. The festival has nearly 100 acts lined about for the two weeks of concerts, opening Friday evening.

The singer and guitarist, who has gone through several name changes before reverting to Prince, performed in Montreux in 2007.

The cheapest tickets will likely go for 195 Swiss francs (180 dollars), while balcony seats will cost 400 francs.

Despite some rumours, or maybe hopes of fans, there was not expected to be a Michael Jackson tribute show this year.
