The legendary Cash Family invited Rachel to open for TV/Film Star, John Amos, on his country music debut performing songs from his new hot country CD release, WE WERE HIPPIES, during the biggest festival in Country Music, the CMA MUSIC WEEK 2009. Rachel was scouted and pitched to the Cash Family by AWJ Platinum Executive, Belinda Foster. "Mr. Cash was looking for the right talent for this huge festival. I immediately thought of Rachel, " says Foster. Live at the CMA MUSIC FEST, Rachel performed as opening act for TV/Film Star, John Amos, with her crowd pleasing country rock original, JUST ENOUGH TO BE DANGEROUS, causing the crowd to jump to their feet in excitement for the infectious beat. Rachel then joined R & B Sensation, Chris Tian, performing power back ups live on Amos' set which included his new country rock release, WE WERE HIPPIES, and other selections from his new CD, including the ballad, HOPELESSLY, and the hot country blues single, COME ON SUNSHINE.
