| 5th Annual Jazz Festival At Caesarea Harbor, Israel Travelers to Israel this summer can experience three days of classical and contemporary jazz music at the 5th Annual Jazz Festival at Caesarea Harbor (June 18-20). The festival features several world-class jazz troupes, including the Four Saxophones Octet, the Harry Allen Quartet, the International Swing Quintet with clarinetist Antti Sarpila and the Chris Barber Jazz and Blues Big Band. In addition, the Israeli jazz group, Swing de Gitanes, will recreate the famed sound of Django Reinhardt's Hot Club de France Quintet every evening on the harbor promenade. "Over the past five years the festival has served as the focus for a developing audience of traditional jazz lovers who travel to Israel, " says Menachem Dotan, Director of Jazz Festival at Caesarea Harbor. "The special environment of bars, restaurants and cafes overlooking the Mediterranean make for a truly unique musical experience."
