| Angeli Kakade Set to Perform at the Famed East Village Hot Spot Jazz-pop singer Angeli Kakade continues her string of performances in the New York City area with a show at the famed Alphabet Lounge. Angeli is expected to perform songs from her EP entitled "To the Top" as well as new material from her upcoming album, produced by mega producer Izzy Gold from New York based Izzy Gold Records. "Staying true to its East Village roots, Alphabet Lounge features artwork of local artists, murals of local painters, live performances from local bands and spirits from local bartenders." The single from her debut self titled album "Fantasy" garnered momentum and popularity immediately after its release in 2006. The song has been featured in the film Goodbye Baby in association with Gigantic Productions. In 2008, Angeli released her first EP entitled "To the Top" through a global digital distribution deal with Australian based Blue Pie Productions. The EP features collaborations with the A.O.R. out of Atlanta, Rick Jones (The Almost Famous Band) out of New York City, and Emiko (of the Geministation Project).
