| RadioRNR releases "New Faces, New Music Vol.1" Representative of their AAA rock based format on RadioRNR.com, RadioRNR releases "New Faces, New Music Vol.1." This is their first release of a Compilation series, which features top unsigned and independent music from all around the globe. Lisa Rodriguez, Music Director at RadioRNR, states "The Compilation series is a creative and highly effective way for RadioRNR to provide an online portal to promote and sell music from artists all over the world. We are excited to be able to bring an international talent pool of radio-ready independent artists to the mainstream who could very well be the next big thing in music." She further states that, "We're giving artists another effective way to sell and distribute their music, even if they are already online selling their music digitally, we are adding to their online catalogue presence. The more albums you release as an artist, the more you increase your web presence, which is worth its weight in gold in the digital world" The "New Faces, New Music Vol.1" is part of a series of compilations that RadioRNR plans to release. Their mission is to promote the station and the artists whose music they stream daily. Their Compilation series will be a series of niche releases, including the New Faces, New Music Series as well as a best of city series, which will feature top bands in selected U.S and International cities. "We've chosen our music very eclectically, adds Rodriguez. It features some of the top unsigned and independent bands from all over the globe, including Johnny Berlin from Belgium, a dance driven popular alternative band from Belgium, along with Tenderhooks from the UK, who bring The Gorillas vibe with animated band members and Dogs Bollocks, a rocknroll punk band from Switzerland, " "The advantage to the artists is that we provide a online platform for the artists to create synergy with other artists from all over the world, that they wouldn't normally have access to. If you're a singer-songwriter in Texas, you're not going to get your music heard immediately by Johnny Cash fans in Switzerland, but with the Compilation, every artist reaches each other's established fan bases if they are all promoting it. And because we discover Johnny Cash punk bands in Switzerland and singer-songwriters in Texas, we can bring those synergies together to cross promote their music with each other's fan bases" says Lisa Rodriguez. Adult album alternative (also triple-A, AAA, or adult alternative) is a radio format from the album-oriented rock format. The radio format has a broader, more diverse playlist than most other formats and tends to appeal more to adults than to teenagers. Less-played tracks are also common. Musical selection tends to be on the fringe of mainstream pop and rock as well as many other music genres such as alternative rock, alternative country, jazz, folk, world music and blues. The musical selections tend to shy away from hard rock and rap music, but does include conscience hip-hop or cross over hip hop artists, like G.Love who is credited for establishing the Hip-Hop Blues genre. Music selection also includes tracks from albums that are not singles, which leads to the enhanced and larger playlist. Triple-A songs sometimes do manage to chart on the Adult Top 40, modern rock, or an adult contemporary chart, since they may be the first to play a first breakout on AAA.
