| UA Steel Bands Spring Concert The spring concert of The University of Arizona Steel Bands will feature a wide range of music, from traditional Trinidadian steel band music to transcriptions of modern pop and jazz tunes, as well as a few classical transcriptions. The UA Steel Band program includes two steel bands, with the top group, best known as UA Steel, performing around Arizona. Josh Armstrong, doctoral graduate teaching assistant at the UA School of Music, is in his second year directing the UA Steel Band program.
