| Coveted Jazz Album Finally Available to Jo Belle Fans Jazz icons such as Mark Murphy, Ira Sullivan, and Von Freeman know who she is. The Chicago Jazz Institute says "She sounds great in any and every musical situation, has the necessary charm, soul, perfect intonation and can sell the lyrics of the song." Her CD, "Sessions... with Friends" is so sought after, that it regularly sells for between $80 and $100 in New York City's West Village second hand music stores. Yet, many people are probably unfamiliar with Jo Belle. Her albums have never been easily purchased. Until now. On April 27th, 2009, "Sessions... with Friends" will be available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon.com, Real Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, and by several other on-line distributors. The album features Jo Belle with some of her favorite musicians including Howard Levy, Alejo Poveda, Ira Sullivan, Joe Lano, Art Davis, Ron Perillo, Eddie Johnson, Vincent Falcone, Tommy Check, Kelly Sill, Joel Spencer, Fareed Haque, Eric Hochberg, Edward Petersen, Dave Carey, Ray Kilday, Ron Zito, and Brad Williams. Songs include: Waters Of March, E-Baba-Leba, Drunk In San Francisco, Out Of This World, The Shining Sea, Better Than Anything, Accustomed To Your Face, Stolen Moments, When I Look In Your Eyes, Nothin' Like You, I'm Old Fashioned, and Playin' It Cool. Born into a show business family, Jo Belle has always been around music. Her father was The Great Yonely, International Musical Humorist, and her mother Sarah, was a singer. Jo Belle got into her first band in 7th grade and sang through high school and college in every style.
