| 42nd Annual Hampton Jazz Festival Line-up Announced On June 26-28, 2009 the 42nd annual Hampton Jazz Festival will return to the Hampton Coliseum for yet another soulful weekend of unforgettable entertainment. Presented by Chrysler-Jeep Hampton Roads Dealers, this highly anticipated event features the top jazz, pop, R&B, and blues performers in the nation. This year's line-up includes: Friday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m.: Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds; George Benson; Ledisi; Jazz Attack featuring Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, and Richard Elliot Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m.: The O'Jays; Michael McDonald; Fantasia; The Forte Jazz Band featuring Brian Pinner Sunday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m.: Patti Labelle; Robin Thicke; Chuck Brown, Keiko Matsui Partially bordered by the Hampton Roads harbor and Chesapeake Bay, Hampton, with the 344, 000 sq. ft. Hampton Roads Convention Center, is located in the center of the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. Hampton is the site of America's first continuous English-speaking settlement and is home to such visitor attractions as the Virginia Air & Space Center and Riverside IMAX Theater, the Cousteau Society, Hampton History Museum, harbor tours and cruises, Hampton University Museum (the oldest African American Museum in the US), Aberdeen Gardens, Fort Monroe (Freedom's Fortress), award-winning Hampton Coliseum, The American Theatre, among others.
