Roman Candle Bring The Rock On The Road This Spring

"Whip smart" and "explosive" (Pitchfork) indie band Roman Candle kick off a spring tour on April 13 in support of their new album 'Oh Tall Tree In The Ear' (May 12, Carnival Recording Company). The Deep Vibration will join Roman Candle as co-headliners on the tour presented by Paste Magazine and WOXY, the popular Cincinnati based indie rock radio station and website. Motel Motel will also join the tour on select east coast dates to be announced soon.

Roman Candle's debut album 'The Wee Hours Revue' (V2) was well received by press garnering them comparisons to Van Morrison and Wilco. Pitchfork hailed the band's "unimpeachable melodies" and "finely drawn lyrics." Rolling Stone called them the "darlings" of the Chapel Hill, NC music scene and The Boston Globe said "Roman Candle's arresting debut is a smart-bomb stunner whose material moves with cool ease and crisp authority amid multi layered hooks and moods."
